The role of our teacher is similar to a coach in a company. She is responsible for assigning tasks that exist also in a real enterprise. What is more, she makes sure that employees learn to meet deadlines and feel responsible for their respective departments. Together with management, she sets strategic goals for the company and helps with the implementation.
Concerning a practice company as a place of learning, she has the role of a facilitator. In general, she ensures smooth working processes in various departments, the implementation and achievement of targets, and the continous development of all the employees. Throughout the school year, she coordinates the tasks of students as a team and as individuals, she instills confidence and provides motivation.
As the year progresses, students develop routines and skills within the framework of the training place. The performance of students is regularly evaluated through weekly objectives, self-appraisal and feedback forms, presentations and assessment tasks.

Focus of the year 2025
In 2025, we continue our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children through our initiative “Make an Order, Let Children Smile Broader.” As part of this program, we donate toys to hospitals and orphanages across Austria. The initiative takes place on the 20th of every month in honor of World Children’s Day.
On these days, 20% of the value of all orders is allocated to our donation program. Toys matching this value are carefully selected and delivered to bring joy to children in need. This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to supporting the community and ensuring every child has a reason to smile.
Digitalisation
In 2025/26, Toys4U continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and technological progress. All departments work with cloud-based systems, ensuring easy access to shared data and smooth operations even during employee absences. Remote work is fully supported, giving our team flexibility and efficiency.
To enhance digitalization, our purchasing department now uses the iPhone 16 as its official company phone, and our meeting room features an advanced smartboard with an ultra-HD display for dynamic digital presentations.
For customers, our website and online catalog are updated regularly to showcase the latest products. Digital tools also allow us to create detailed quarterly sales reports, helping us optimize our strategy and product offerings.
Our marketing team actively manages our Instagram account, TOYS4U, sharing insights into daily life at Toys4U.

Sustainability 2025
In 2025/26, Toys4U continues to advance its sustainability efforts by handling most daily operations digitally, significantly reducing paper consumption. When printed documents are required, we now use only recycled paper, supporting our goal of operating in a more environmentally responsible way.
We have also made strong progress in promoting sustainable commuting. A recent survey showed that over 75% of our employees already use public transportation. To further reduce car usage, we plan to introduce a bike-sharing program and increased transport subsidies, aiming to boost the number of employees cycling to work by the end of the year.
Toys4U is also improving its packaging practices. Through our partnerships we now use eco-friendly, compostable materials—such as recycled filling material—instead of plastic or styrofoam. These biodegradable alternatives can be disposed of in organic waste, reinforcing our commitment to reducing environmental impact across all areas of the company.
